Conscious Movement Yoga
Conscious Movement Yoga employs the key elements of Tantrik Practice by entraining a number of key elements, such as:
- breath
- movement/spatial awareness
- somatic awareness
- mindfulness
- visualisation/imagination
- mantra
- mudra
- bandha
(not necessarily all at once).
The practice is gentle and mindful rather than spectacular and full of athletic prowess. On the physical level, this practice will strengthen and limber the body, though the central focus is on making deeper connections with our true nature.
In 2025 Conscious Movement Yoga is being offered in two 9 week terms.
Term 1: 6 May to 1 July
Term 2: 29 July to 23 September
These will be held on Tuesday mornings, 10 to 11.30am, at Tara Hall, 2/496 Magill Rd, Magill SA (at rear of Buddha House.)
